I had Taylor come today to work on my home and yard which is adjacent to the foothills and BLM land. He was meticulous in his efforts to eradicate the many bugs and pests that like to call my property their home. Although my property was large and challenging, he remained cheerful and positive throughout the time he spent, including climbing on my very steep roof to tackle a wasps nest over 30 feet above ground. I’ve found my pest guys! Preston and Taylor were down to earth and did a fantastic job. They took the time to listen to my situation and walk the property with me as I pointed out the wasp nests I’ve been battling. They gave me solid recommendations and took care of everything, (spraying, knocking down nests, and putting up a barrier.) They also cleaned up the cobwebs around my property while they were at it. When they were done, they reported back that they’d found four additional active wasp nests I hadn’t noticed, plus some dormant ones. Also nice that the spray they used was kid and pet friendly, since we have both. Highly recommend these guys.

These brothers are amazing, I have met both now and they’re both so kind and genuinely amazing humans! I have a pretty old home and it’s my 2nd year I have a huge issue with earwigs, firebugs, ants, mice even! I never did anything cause I didn’t know but letting them know my concerns not only did they teach me they were so empathetic I have recommended them to everyone I know! Also they’re so affordable I’m a single mom of 2 boys and I’m so glad I was able to afford it on my own!

I finally caved. I’m a DIYer, which means I only get around to it when the bugs are really bad. Plus, the stuff I can buy just isn’t as good. I signed up for the subscription, and it’s so much better. Things just gets done, and my wife is happier. These guys are great. Totally knowledgeable, super professional and always check with me to see what more they can do.

Arvo Pest Control came this morning. Taylor was our technician. He was on time and very respectful of our house. He sprayed the inside and outside of my house and even in my sheds! Taylor took the time to answer all of my questions and gave me some suggestions on how we can eliminate some of the areas where bugs like to live.

Taylor was very informative on the process that was needed to be done. Then when the job was complete, He advised me of what I needed to do to improve not getting bugs. He told me what he had done and what he found. Taylor was also very helpful when I needed to reschedule my appointment. We got the white glove treatment! The team found 12 active wasps nests, put down gallons of product to ensure outstanding coverage and longevity, and used a safer product for our family (much better than the harsh one I was using). Inside, the team covered the garage and most of the rooms too (ones without a sleeping kid in them - I decided we'll get those next quarter). The differentiator of Arvo for me was the super friendly team and that they use kid-friendly and pet-safe products, no contracts, and they are locally owned and operated. I wasn't planning on signing up for a recurring quarterly treatment, but after experiencing the service, the coverage, and the kid-friendly product - I decided a quarterly service sounded right. No pressure, they shared the price and I said, ok let's do this. I moved into a new condo, and started noticing some bugs. I realized they were cockroaches, and contacted a pest control company. The first company came twice and I was still seeing an increasing number of cockroaches. That's when I contacted 2LM Pest Control. He was thorough with inspecting my place and set up a plan to help get the problem taken care of. We unfortunately have all the pests. Ants, wasps, black widows, wolf spiders, ear wigs and a vole. Taylor has come out to the house to treat and spot treat. There has been a huge difference in the pests. Taylor is so kind and helpful!

I called Arvo Pest Control after noticing a lot of really large spiders around my yard where my kids play. They responded very quickly and were able to come out and treat the problem right away. The best part is that the products they use are safe for both kids and pets, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. They did an amazing job—we haven’t seen any spiders since! I would definitely recommend them to anyone dealing with a similar issue.

We always get spiders and other critters. Preston got our patio that seems to be a magnet for bugs near our porch lights and been pretty pest free since. Great value and safe around areas we frequent.

Preston and Taylor are an absolute dynamic duo. It’s literally the same day as our first service and I already have zero hesitation recommending Argo Pest Control to anyone in the Salt Lake City area… and Utah County too, from what I understand. I’ll be back to update this review once we see how the treatment holds… fingers crossed the wasp saga is officially over. They’re family-owned, and honestly? You can feel it. Nothing about this experience felt like a franchise going through the motions. Backstory: we’ve had a wasp situation brewing all summer in our enclosed gutters and threaded through the siding and shutters. It just kept building and building until my daughter got stung. Cool cool cool, love that for us. So I did what any reasonable person does when they hit their limit… I posted in a local Facebook group asking what I should know and who I should call. Preston responded almost immediately with a genuinely thorough answer, then DMed me directly and offered to send Arvo out the very next day to take a look and treat. He had it locked in before half the group even saw the post, and that group moves fast and doesn’t mess around with business posts. That told me everything. Then I started noticing Arvo popping up organically in other recommendation threads too. Cosmic confirmation, basically. True to his word, Taylor showed up on time the next day, smiling, in absolutely brutal heat. I have a severe allergy to wasps, so I came in with a list of concerns a mile long, and he listened to every single one of them like it actually mattered to him. No rushing, no glazed over eyes. He asked thoughtful questions, walked me through his whole plan before touching a thing, and genuinely educated me on what he was seeing and why. Then he got to work, treating the full perimeter of the house for wasps, earwigs, and basically everything else that had probably been quietly setting up camp out there. Thank goodness bed bugs weren’t part of the lineup ;) but if I ever suspect those, Arvo is who I’m calling, no question. When he finished, he broke down exactly what he’d done, the products he used (organic, kid-friendly, pet-safe… a genuine relief with a dog and a kid running around), and what to watch for moving forward. Taylor was personable, easy to talk to, clearly knew his stuff inside and out. Not one sketchy vibe, not one moment of second-guessing. Just good energy and real expertise. What really stuck with me is the sense I got from Taylor that pest control, to him, isn’t just about killing bugs. It’s about protecting the home and the people in it. Preserving the backyard barbecues, the summer nights, the easy moments a single yellow jacket can wreck in about two seconds flat. That kind of “why” behind the work is rare, and it showed in how careful and thorough he was with our house. I signed up for their ongoing plan on the spot, no hesitation. And if anything gets out of hand between visits, I know I can just call. That peace of mind alone is worth it. If you want pest control people with actual personality who know exactly what they’re doing… call Preston and Taylor.

Preston was such a nice guy to work with! I posted on Facebook that I needed someone to come spray for ants and he immediately reached out offering to come out same day! He was competitively priced and very easy to work with. He got the job done quick and efficiently while the kids and I were home. I would highly recommend him to anyone for any pest control needs.

Preston came out quickly to take care of a ground wasp infestation in my rock wall that had made it nearly impossible to tend to my pollinator garden. Those little wasps can be surprisingly aggressive! He got right to work, thoroughly treating the entire wall and spending extra time around the main nest. He even took care of a couple of paper wasp nests under my awning while he was here. Preston was punctual, communicative, friendly, and professional from start to finish. What really stood out to me was that he intentionally avoided spraying the flowers my honey bees love whenever possible. It’s clear this company genuinely cares about protecting beneficial pollinators while effectively dealing with the pests. Thank you for braving those aggressive wasps, Preston! I truly appreciate your hard work and will absolutely be a customer for life.

Arvo was highly recommended. Preston explained the process, the formula they use, what they do and if repeated application is necessary, they will reapply within the period alloted. He explained the price of one time application vs a subscription. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. More coverage the better is what he repeatedly said. He also spent significant time thoroughly applying the formula outside. I am so pleased with him and his company. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.
